Listen Now!

“Leadership is influencing people by providing purpose, direction and motivation while operating to accomplish the mission and improve the organization.”

The Leaders Thought Process

Listen Now!

In this episode we will discover the basic use of behavior science approaches and theories so that we can better analyze:
· Leadership situations

· Explain problems
· Reinforce action

To accomplish this we must do three things:
· Recognize situational factors that compel us to act, known as Areas of Interest.
· Use what we know from the behavioral sciences to help us analyze and explain why an Area of Interest exists. And
· Use this knowledge to formulate a leader plan that addresses our Area of Interest.

Designing A Leader Action Plan

An effective leadership action plan includes three distinct parts.

  • Identifying Areas of Interest (what makes you take action
  • Accounting for what’s happening( relate to one an other)
  • Selecting the appropriate theoretical leadership strategies
